Faith Made Firm Campaign

2025-2026 Giving Campaign: Faith Made Firm

Annual Fund
Scholarship Fund

At Potomac Classical Conservatory, we know the purpose of education is formation; it is training students to become lovers of God who are awakened and attuned to His beauty, goodness, and truth. We recognize and love that the primary place of virtue formation in the life of a child ought not be the school: it is the home and church! Our mission is to offer support to homeschooling parents who desire to be greatly engaged in the education of their children; namely, a classical Christian collaborative education.

As parents and educators we model this devotion to Jesus and his Church, as well as a lifelong love of learning. True knowledge consists not in bending the truth to ourselves, but in conforming ourselves to the truth. We aim to cultivate wonder at God’s world, lay the foundation for wisdom, and ultimately lead students to true worship.

Annual Fund: Sustaining Excellence

Each year, our school depends on the generosity of families, grandparents, faculty, and friends who share the heartbeat of our mission to inspire, encourage, and and support homeschooling families by offering a Christ-centered, classical framework to share in the work of education. However, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of this work.

Gifts to the Annual Fund makes PCC’s mission achievable by providing essential support to critical expenses, allowing PCC to maintain affordable tuition, attract excellent faculty, and offer a maturing, rich, Christ-centered education.

When you give to the Annual Fund, you join a growing community of believers who make this work possible in the DC metro region. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure play a critical role in assisting Potomac Classical in its desire to cultivate students of wisdom and virtue to the glory of God.

This year’s Annual Fund seeks to raise $200,000 towards:

  • Continue to maintain our impressive 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio; average of 13 students per classroom. This is a rare and remarkable statistic that allows for a strong partnership between parents and teachers.

  • Teachers are our greatest assets and Annual Fund giving helps enable us to retain gifted and qualified teachers.

  • Maintain complete financial independence as an institution; decline state and federal subsidies in order to maintain freedom from undesired federal regulations. This allows us to retain the freedom to educate our children and grandchildren in accordance with Scripture regardless of regulations set forth by government agencies.

  • Continue to improve content, quality, and consistency of curricula across all grades.

  • Addition of annual standardized testing that aligns with our philosophy of education: The Classic Learning Test (CLT).

  • Faculty professional development: top-notch, expert, off-site board, faculty, and staff training and consulting via The Society for Classical Learning, the leaders in the classical Christian education movement.

Building and sustaining a classical Christian collaborative school in the DC metro region requires extensive resources and much hard work. Accomplishing these goals and serving families in this area is exceptionally resource intensive. Will you partner with us and invest in educating students to the Glory of God? Your donation will help actively sustain this mission now and, Lord willing, for generations to come.

Potomac Classical Scholarship Fund: Expanding Access

PCC Seeks to raise $30,000 towards our scholarship fund

A classical Christian education is one of the most profound investments a family can make in a child’s life. At PCC, we believe this should be accessible to families who share our vision, regardless of financial circumstances. Our desire is to serve the right families—those who are called to partner with us in forming students who love truth, pursue goodness, and delight in beauty.

Our new needs-based Scholarship Fund exists to bridge the gap for families who long to join this mission but require financial support to make it possible.

Every gift—large or small—helps to open the door for students to experience the richness of a collaborative classical education within our deeply thoughtful and intentional Christ-centered community.

Will you partner with us?

God has blessed each of us with the ability to contribute in different ways. Whether sharing your time and talents through volunteer work or making a financial gift, we are grateful for the powerful way God provides for our school through His people. Your gifts of time, talent and treasure play a critical role in assisting Potomac Classical in its desire to cultivate students of wisdom and virtue.
